Llwynfor was built in 1928 by a local man and used as a family home for some years. Information is sketchy but over the Second World War it was used to house mine workers or soldiers. Three extensions were built for this purpose. In the 1950's it was sold and the garage used as tea rooms until 1964.
In the 1960's it was bought by a charity and used as a hostel until 2013. From 2013-2015 we bought and undertook a complete refurbishment of the property.
