FAQ's

Llwynfor (LL53 8AF) is in the small village of Rhiw on the Llyn Peninsula looking out over Hells Mouth - the largest beach on Llyn and a surfers' paradise. Llwynfor is four miles from Aberdaron and four miles from Sarn.

Hells Mouth beach is half a mile from the house and it is possible to walk down to the pebbly part of the beach (Rhual). It’s not easy to walk down to the beach everywhere – building a good footpath is impossible due to coastal erosion. To take a family to the beach - go to Llanengan - 7 miles from Llwynfor or try Aberdaron beach (4 miles).

Aberdaron (four miles) has 2 pubs serving bar meals, numerous cafes, a wonderful bakery, fish and chip shop, shops and post office as well as a National Trust centre with gift shop, a lovely beach and historic church in a beautiful setting.  The nearby cove of Porth Meudwy is also your starting point to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island).  Sarn (4 miles) has 2 pubs, butchers, village shop, pottery and garage.
